The North Shore Mustangs advance to the 5A Boys Basketball Semi-Round Finals against DeSoto on Friday, March 7, 2014. The playoff game will tip-off at 3:00pm in Austin, Texas at the Frank Erwin Center. Catch the 21-5A District Champions as they continue their playoff run... pure excitement! Tickets are on sale now at the District Athletic Office.
The Galena Park Independent School District is having a "Team Send Off" rally on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at the North Shore Senior High bus ramp. The rally will start at 9:15am to support the team as they load the bus for the state finals in Austin! Read more
The North Shore Senior High School 10-12 Campus will dismiss students at 11:15 a.m. on Friday, March 7, 2014 to allow our students and teachers the opportunity to support our Mighty Mustang Boys' Basketball Team, who will be headed to Austin, Texas for the 2014 State Championship Play-Offs.
The first semi-final game will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, March 7th against DeSoto High School. The championship game will be played on Saturday, March 8th at 8:30 p.m.
All games will take place at the University of Texas Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas.
We look forward to seeing our GPISD family, friends and students at the game, but please be mindful that all students are required to be in attendance on Friday until dismissal at 11:15 a.m.

GPISD is hosting an Internet Safety Poster Contest and the theme fo rthis year is “Don’t Be Mean on the Screen!”. Senior Gold Cards are available to all GPISD residents fifty-five years of age or older and will provide members with free admission to all regular GPISD performing arts and athletic events. Enrolling is easy. Bring proof of residence to either the GPISD Administration Building, GPISD Athletic Offices or the Heritage Hall. Read more
