Strong Finish Gets GP The Win


The GPHS Tennis played home against North Shore. GPHS would sweep boys doubles and win one girls doubles. Then the Yellow Jackets slowed down to only lead 6-5 half way through. GPHS would then finish with a strong performance to finish the day off with a 13-5 victory. GPHS was lead by outstanding play from: Alberto Cruz, Amanda Rivera, and Noah Tamez. Next up is Pasadena Memorial on August 23.



Fast start at Spring Woods


The GPHS Tennis team traveled to Spring Woods High School on August 9th and would start fast in Doubles Play. The boys would sweep doubles winning all three doubles and would win 3 out of 4 singles matches. Girls would have a slower start winning 1 out of 3 doubles, but would bounce back winning all 3 singles to seal a victory. Next up is North Shore at 4:30 pm on August 16 at Galena Park HS.
