NORTH SHORE GOLF UPDATE

       The District 21-5A Championship Tournament was very successful for the Mustangs.

       The Girls Team I placed second and qualified for the Regional Tournament to be played on April 20-21 at Eagle Pointe Golf Club. This is the first time in school history that a girls team has qualified for Regional. The team consisted of Jessica Holst, Melanie Bartsch, Genesis Rodriguez, Kim Cantu, and Ashley Gerard.

     The Girls Team II placed 4th. That team consisted of Ashley Gerard, Desiree David, Britanny Dyer, Shanice Maxwell, and Sarah Bazaldua.

     The Boys Team I placed third. The team consisted of Brian Bohanon, Brandon Bohanon, Brad Mullins, Justin Mullins, and Robert Colina. Brian won a two-hole playoff to qulaify for Regionals as a medalist.

     In addition to our team success the following players were named All-District based on their individual performances:
1st Team All-District

Melanie Bartsch
Genesis Rodriguez
Ashley Gerard

2nd Team All-District
Desiree David

     The performance of the Mustang Golf Team at the District 21-5A Tournament was a culmination of a season of hard work and consistant improvement. Each member of the team should be proud of their accomplishments.
