NORTH SHORE WINS STATE TITLE
The North Shore Mustangs have just won the state title in Boys Track and Field events today in Austin.
The Mustangs placed in seven different events that gave them their first-ever title in track and field title in the school's history and they did it on the backs of star Deandrew White.
White placed in all four of his events to lead the Mustangs. He won first place in the Boys Long Jump, second place in the 200M Dash, placed second on the 4 x 400M Relay team, and third on the 4 x 200M Relay team.
The Mustangs finish the season undefeated which is quite an accomplishment, particularly coming out of their Region.
The Sentinel will have more on this story as interviews are completed. Until then, here are the events that each of the Mustangs placed in and their names. Also, at the bottom you will find a list of the top five teams and their point totals.
