This summer GPISD will be having NASA's Summer of Innovation program (July 16-24). There is no cost to attend. Transportation will be provided as well as breakfast and lunch. July 24th will be a FREE field trip to Space Center Houston and The Johnson Space Center. Join us for a week of fun!

Students discussed the affects of fast food on the human body this week. They checked out the Nutritional differences between Fast Food and Home Cooked Food. They also discussed which body systems were affected by fast food.

This year, the festival focused on Internet Safety and CyberBullying. Our students are on the internet more and more everyday. It is important that they know the hazards that exist and the precautions that can be made. From handheld devices, computers to video games, it is important the students stay safe.
