Mrs. Guajardo was nominated by one of our Havard teachers for going above and beyond to help our students enjoy an awesome learning experience. Mrs. Gouard presented her with the Galena Park I.S.D. Excellent Educator Award.  Thank you Mrs. Guajardo for helping make Havard a special place for our students and staff.

Ms. Walker was nominated for an Excellent Educator Award for hard work and dedication to our district by one of our Havard Parents.  We are very proud of her and are thankful for all she does for our students.  Mrs. Gouard presented her with her award.

Havard Elementary students and staff appreciate the nearly two dozen backpacks and lunch kits donated by Mandy Carlisle, her son Slade, and his class from the New Braunfels Christian Academy to help the students at Havard Elementary. Mrs. Carlisle, a former teacher here at Havard Elementary, personally transported the school's donations to us here in Houston. This kind and generous gesture will go a long way to help our students and their families return to normal. We salute the NBCA students, parents, and staff for being awesome friends of the Havard Cowboys!

We are very excited about our new Havard T-shirts!  Be sure to get one as soon as possible for our Friday Spirit Days.

Don't miss out on this awesome school shirt.

We only accept cash payment in the office.

"Tips for a Safe Walk to School"

Parents should identify the safest route, practice it with their children, and teach children to not vary from that route.

Students should walk in groups and not alone. If anything unusual occurs, be sure to immediately report it to a parent or school staff member.

Never accept rides that were not arranged in advance by your parents.

Look left, right, left again, behind you and in front of you before you begin crossing the street.

Obey traffic signs and signals.

When you are near the street, do not push, shove or chase.

Wear bright colors so drivers can see you more easily.
