At least every three years after the first evaluation, the school must reevaluate your child unless you and the school agree a reevaluation is unnecessary. |

You and your school make decisions about your child's educational program through an ARD committee. |

You have a right to be actively involved in the ARD committee meeting and to discuss any aspect of your child's educational program. |
| The ARD committee must meet at least once a year and must have an IEP for your child in effect by the beginning of each school year. |

If your child violates the student code of conduct, the school may remove your child from the current placement for 10 school days or less in a school year. |

The school must protect the confidentiality of your child's records. |

You have the right to review your child's entire education record including the parts that are related to special education. |
