Kinder 7:35 am - 2:05 pm
Pre-Kindergarten classes meet from 7:45 am - 10:45 am or 11:00 am - 2:00 pm.

We realize that dimissal can be a busy time. Please keep in mind that ALL dismissal procedures are for the safety of our students.
Students will not be allowed to change their dismissal routine without a written note from a parent/ guardian. In the event of an unplanned change, PLEASE contact or come in person to the front office no later than
1:15 p.m. for PK p.m. - Kindergarten and 2:30 p.m. for 1st - 5th grade.

All students to Galena Park ISD will enroll on-line at www.galenaparkisd.com through the Skyward Family Access System.
All Pre-Kinder students will enroll at the campus.

Pre-Kindergarten registration must be done in person by the parent or legal guardian.
On-line registration will not be allowed for Pre-K.
your child must be 4 years of age by September 1st and meet at least one of the following eligibility
requirements as determined by Texas law. No exceptions can be made.
•Difficulty speaking/comprehending English (testing required and will be administered at registration)
•Educationally (economically) disadvantaged – includes:
◦Families meeting National Free or Reduced-Price Lunch Program guidelines
•Homeless – as defined by 42 U.S.C Section 11302
•Child of an active duty member of the Armed Forces of the United States
•Child of a member of the Armed Forces of the United States who was injured or killed while serving on
•Child is or has been in the conservatorship of the Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS)
in the State of Texas following an adversary hearing under Family Code Section 262.201

•Printed electronic Confirmation of Electronic New Student Pre-Enrollment Information document – if
•Proof of Income* (Current payroll check stub or letter from employer stating gross wages paid
and how often paid)

•Copy of Death Certificate from Department of Defense/memorandum signed by the Casualty Office
