Teacher of the Year 2005-2006

   Mr. Burke was named the 2005-2006 Teacher of the Year. He was nominated by his fellow teachers. “Have passion for what you teach and what you do” said Mr. Burke. Mr. Burke began working at NSMS 9 years ago after he graduated from the University of Houston. Mr. Burke’s role models were his High school teachers. “Yearbook just fell into my lap right after college” said Mr. Burke. Before Mr. Burke began teaching yearbook, he taught English. Mr. Burke said “he felt very surprised when he won Teacher of the Year.

Mr. Burke has led the Yearbook Staff in developing award-winning yearbooks. Yearbooks are currently on sale for $25.
