The Reason We Read- Mrs. Simms

“I think kids should read because it inspires you to all types of places. I read everyday, it’s just fantastic,” says Mrs. Simms. Mrs. Simms favorite books are the New York Times best selling Left Behind series by Tim Lahaye and Jerry B. Jenkins. The premise of the book is the rise of the antichrist witnessed by Christians who are left behind after the rapture. “When I was reading this book I was really curious because a person became evil. In my opinion I would recommend this book to kids because of points [the authors make] and it is a very good book. The authors did a very good job on this book. If I had to relate myself to anybody in the book it would be Chloe Steele. Chloe takes chances and stands up for what she believes in."
