Welcome to North Shore Middle School
To help develop each student to be emotionally, mentally, morally, physically and socially prepared to take his/her place in an ever-changing society.
The vision of NSMS is to prepare and lead the students of NSMS to be ready to enter high school with the skills needed to graduate in four years through rigorous instruction, and by offering classes where students can earn high school credit towards their graduation requirements while in middle school.
Students compete in annual History Fair
Seventh and eighth grade projects were up for judging April 14th at the annual school History Fair. Students worked hard on projects in the following categories: poster, models, graphics. Each category is awarded a 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place along with honorable mentions. In addition, there's a Best of Show for each grade level. The NSMS History Fair has been one of the longest running events at the school--over 30 years!
After judging, Mr. Roger Banks, an 8th grade Social Studies teacher, assigned awards based on the judges' tallies. The projects will be on display for all to see from 4:30pm to 6pm Wednesday, April 15 in the school's multipurpose room.
