The Character Education Theme for January is perseverance.  Perseverance is steadfastness in doing something despite difficulty or delay in achieving
success.

Congratulations to Lillie Richerson

Employee of the Month

January 2015

From humble beginnings as a paraprofessional, M. Lillie Richerson now serves as Pyburn’s PEIMS clerk.  Thirty one years of experiences could fill a library; in fact, she was the library aide before moving to the front office.  Her dedication to ensuring students attend school has been pivotal to Pyburn’s success.   Ms. Richerson not only works diligently as the PEIMS clerk, but also covers duties in the front office.  She is one of the many friendly voices that greets visitors.  Ms. Richerson thoroughly enjoys her days at Pyburn.  There is always something to do and that is the way she prefers her work.

When not working, Ms. Richerson can be found among family.  She has two beautiful daughters, a variety of grandchildren.  Recently, her grandson, Dillon, graduated from the Naval Academy in Pensacola, Florida.  If you have time, ask her about her grandchildren and great-granddaughter; you’ll love hearing about their accomplishments.  It’s not surprising to know that Ms. Richerson has also helped bring out the best in her family like she brings out the best in Pyburn.

Way to go, Ms. Richerson!!!!
