The Character Education Theme for November is fairness. Knute Rockne, one of the world's greatest football coaches, had this to say about fairness, "Win or lose, do it fairly,"  Everything you do should be done fairly so you can be proud of what you have done.

Congratulations to Kristin Dodson

Employee of the Month

November 2014

Mrs. Dodson is currently in her eleventh year of teaching at Pyburn Elementary.  She has taught one year in first grade, eight years in second grade and is currently on her second year in kindergarten.  Mrs. Dodson loves the Pyburn family and cannot imagine teaching anywhere else.

Mrs. Dodson’s family always comes first. She has a wonderful husband (Shane) of 26 years.  She has two amazing children that are not children anymore. Mrs. Dodson’s son (Ryan) is 22 years old and her daughter (Meghan) is 19.  Recently, Mrs. Dodson’s son has made her a grandmother as of September 27th, 2014.  She loves being a Nana!

In her spare time, Mrs. Dodson enjoys reading, hanging out with family and friends, and loving on her grandson (Gavyn).

Way to go, Mrs. Dodson!!!!
