Testing, Accountability, Research, and Program Evaluation

The Testing and Accountability department implements the state-mandated assessment programs.  Additionally, we provide leadership for the district’s data interpretation processes as well as implementation of the state and federal accountability systems.

GPISD program evaluations measure the effectiveness of federal, state, and locally, and grant funded educational programs. Quantitative and qualitative data are gathered and analyzed to provide essential planning, research, and descriptive information. Program evaluations include both formative and summative reports for comprehensive assessments.

Yearly evaluations are conducted in order to yield reports as required by federal and state monitoring objectives of programs receiving such funding. The evaluations are produced to provide a data-driven decision making district model with relevant and timely information. Reports are generated with the assistance of district-wide personnel for accuracy. Both formative and summative reports are discriminated to schools, administration, the superintendent, and school board members.
