Scholarships for 2012

 

Applications for scholarships from the Galena Park ISD Education Foundation are posted. All applications will be due in the Education Foundation office by Monday, April 30, 2012 except for the Harper Scholarship. The scholarships to be awarded are:

 

DNA Athletics Scholarship - One (1) Scholarship Available - $500

 

Carolyn Hayes Vidrine Scholarship (Student must attend GPHS and pursing a degree to become a public school teacher) - One (1) Scholarship Available - $500

Harper Scholarship for Allied Health Careers (Student must attend GPHS, attend San Jacinto College North in the Fall of 2012 and major in one of the following: LVN, Medical Lab Technician, Pharmacy Technician, Medical Billing and Coding or Medical Coding) - Up to ten (10) Scholarships Available - Due on Monday, May 7, 2012

Harper Scholarship for Allied Health Careers 2012

 

In 2011, the Education Foundation awarded $35,500 in 41 scholarships to students and employees. Since it's inception, the Education Foundation has awarded over $218,100 in scholarships.
