North Shore Senior High School To Host TEDx Event

Houston, Texas: North Shore Senior High School is proud to host their first ever TEDxYouth@NSSH event on Tuesday May 20, 2014 from 8:00 AM - 2:30 PM in the North Shore Senior High School auditorium. This inaugural event will showcase a diverse and dynamic range of speakers from students to city leaders, coming together around the theme of problems, solutions, and making an impact in our world.

A TEDx event is a local gathering where live TED-like talks and videos previously recorded at TED conferences are shared with the community. TEDx events are fully planned and coordinated independently, on a community-by-community basis. The content and design of each TEDx event is unique and developed independently, but all of them have features in common.

The fourth largest high school in Texas, NSSH has a thriving population of problem solvers tackling a broad array of issues from local to global. This event will allow students, staff and the community to participate in a day of discoveries.

Attendance is strictly limited to 100 attendees. Please visit our TEDxYouth@NSSH event page for more information and apply to attend:  www.ted.com/tedx/events/11452
