South Texas Dental Delivers Smiles
Houston, Texas: Just in time for the Galena Park Yellow Jackets' first game of the season, South Texas Dental delivered custom made mouth-guards to each football player, freshman, junior varsity and varsity. Stemming from a joint effort of South Texas Dental, Stern Empire Dental Laboratory and the GP/JC Rotary Club, these mouth guards offer significantly improved protection over typical over the counter mouth guards. “This is great for our kids. They will be able to utilize top notch mouth protection at no cost to them,” said Dave Handal, head coach and athletic coordinator for Galena Park High School. “Josh [Moreno, South Texas Dental Community Relations Director] has been great. They came to us with this idea. It's heart-warming to know their generosity is helping our athletes stay safe,” Handal added.
GPISD and the football players, coaches and parents are all grateful for the generosity of South Texas Dental, Stern Empire Dental Laboratory and the GP/JC Rotary Club.

"These are the best mouth guards ever! They fit perfect, they're comfortable, and I can still call out plays,” exclaimed WR and CB Dawon Alston (pictured).
