Mustangs Gallop to Victory, Remain 1st in District

Houston, Texas: The North Shore Mustangs boys basketball team took on the Beaumont Westbrook Bruins last night, winning the game handily 95-46. The game got of to a slow start for the Mustangs, trailing the Bruins 13-15 midway through the first quarter. But a time out called by Coach Green got things on track and the Mustangs never looked back. They led the Bruins 51-26 at halftime. Kerwin Roach was the leading scorer for the Mustangs with 33 points. The Mustangs are 6-0 in district with two games remaining. Their next game is against Deer Park on Friday at 7 p.m. at North Shore Senior High School.
