Mustangs Corral Longhorns

Houston, Texas: In North Shore's first playoff game of the season, they trailed Dobie 10-17 after the first half. Ten of Dobie's points came off Mustang turnovers. But the Mustangs came out inspired in the second half and secured a 38-17 victory, scoring 28 points while keeping the Longhorns scoreless. The Mustangs had 98 rushing yards to the Longhorns' 148; however, North Shore passed for 192 yards while holding the Longhorns to only 29 yards passing.

The Mustangs will face Clear Springs in the area playoff round on Friday, November 21 at Galena Park ISD Stadium. Kickoff is at 7:00 p.m.
