GPISD Hosts 14th Annual Multimedia Festival

Houston, Texas: This year GPISD celebrated its 14th annual Multimedia Festival on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at North Shore Senior High School. The school was filled with excitment as GPISD celebrated the hard work and accomplishments of 712 campus and district winners. Over the years, students have grown in confidence and ability, especially through the incorporation of a variety of technology tools and software used to create phenomenal projects. This year’s theme was “How To? or Here’s How:”. A 3D virtual reality station, made of Google card boards, was displayed for all to enjoy. The contest's medals were created by 7th grader, Alyssa Lugo, from Cunningham Middle School. The festival is a team effort which would not be possible without the support of parents, volunteers, teachers, administrators, maintenance workers and the GPISD Technology Department.
