GPISD Teachers Win Goldin Awards
Houston, Texas: Teachers from Galena Park ISD were recently named as winners of the Goldin Foundation for Excellence in Education award. The Goldin Foundation for Excellence in Education recognizes and rewards educators who have made outstanding contributions in their classrooms, schools and communities. The Foundation seeks to foster the respect for and appreciation of educators. It also seeks to retain quality educators and attract others to the profession.
Congratulations to Krystle Breden, Social Studies Teacher, North Shore Senior High School; Gregory Culpepper, Fatherhood & Partnership Specialist, Becker Early Childhood Center; Kouida Putman, Art Teacher & Department Chair, North Shore Senior High School; and Diana Towner, Art Specialist, Purple Sage Elementary.
The outstanding educators were recognized at the May meeting of the GPISD Board of Trustees on Monday, May 9, 2016.
