See to Succeed

Houston, Texas: This October, students from all over the Houston area were treated to free eye exams and glasses as part of the See to Succeed initiative. Nearly 600 students from Galena Park ISD were served. GPISD bussed the students to the West End Multi-Service Center in Houston. A partnership between Houston Department of Health and Human Services, University of Houston, San Jacinto College, Kids Vision For Life and the Berkeley Eye Center, The See to Succeed initiative aims to improve vision and vision related health, education and social factors by performing annual vision exams and providing eyewear.
