Galena Park High School Elects 2015 Homecoming King & Queen
Houston, Texas: At the Yellow Jackets homecoming game On Friday night, October 9, Galena Park High School announced their 2015 Homecoming King and Queen - Osvaldo Almanza and Jessamine Peña.
Almanza is on the A/B honor roll and will receive his welding certification at the end of the year. He has been on the Varsity Football team for the past three years, and is also a member of Interact. He coaches a little league team in his spare time. Osvaldo plans to attend Tulsa Welding School where he will pursue a career in pipefitting.
Peña is in the top 20% of her class and on the A/B Honor Roll. She is a proud member of HOSA, Interact, Student Council and the College Club. She enjoys volunteering at Book of The World. Jesseline plans to attend Texas Women's University to pursue a career in nursing.
