North Shore Theatre Wins Big at UIL Competition
Houston, Texas: North Shore Senior High School Theatre was selected as the winning play in the UIL District 21 One-Act Play competition held on Tuesday, March 21st.
In addition to placing 1st and advancing to the Bi-District competition, North Shore's Jerra Gentry and Katreyvion Smith both earned All-Star Cast awards, Derrick Thomas received Best Technician honors and Brytanni Davis earned Best Actress honors for her performance as Lena Younger in Lorraine Hansberry's A Raisin in the Sun.
Congratulations to the North Shore Sr. High School Theatre Department and their directors, Veronica Stell and Vaughn Belcher, on advancing to the UIL One-Act Play Bi-District competition.
