MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: 1.Assist with developing and maintaining individual behavioral plans. 2.Facilitate the district behavioral program developed for students with behavior intervention plans. 3.Assist the campus staff with behavior interventions for students with persistent classroom behavior problems. 4.Facilitate meetings with campus behavioral teams (i.e., meetings with behavioral specialist, assistant principal, counselor, CYS worker, nurse, etc.) 5.Conduct functional behavioral assessments to assists in the development of behavior intervention plans. 6.Restrain children in danger of harm to themselves or others (behavior specialist must be CPI certified and parent permission for restraint must be on file).
