Here are the steps for installing the latest version of the FirstClass client for Windows.
You can use these instructions to install the client on your home computer, too!

If you don't already have the latest FirstClass software, you
can get it here:
Download the Windows v10.009 client locally.
Download the Mac v10.009 client locally.
To check for newer versions, try

Before the client is installed, make sure you log out of FirstClass to close the current version of the client, otherwise the new version won't install correctly. |

Important: if you see a FirstClass icon in the system tray (next to the clock in the lower right corner), right-click on the icon and choose "Exit". |

Now, simply double-click on the file that you downloaded in step 1 to install the client.
If you receive an error about a locked file, you probably haven't done step 3.

If FirstClass still looks the same after you install the new client, you probably haven't done step 3.

If this is the first time you've installed FirstClass, you will need to complete some fields on the login screen.
Expand the Advanced settings by clicking the Advanced button

In the Address box, enter fc.galenaparkisd.com (FirstClass will add ".fc" to the end of it).
In the User ID box, enter your FirstClass username
At this point, many people click "Save" to save everything but their password. If you're on your home computer, you may also choose to save your password as well. |

Click "Login" to log into the FirstClass server. |
