Warren Holloway (left) played wide receiver at Galena Park and signed to play for North Dakota State University in Fargo, North Dakota. Warren, the son of Terrell Holloway and Toyann Simmons, is a first team All-District 21-4A selection and is a three-year letterman in football, basketball and track at Galena Park. He caught 38 passes for almost 700 yards and 6 TDs during his senior year for the Yellowjackets, who finished with an 8-3 record. Warren is a two-time all-district selection in basketball and a regional track qualifier in the hurdles.
Dhamiri Thomas (right) is an offensive lineman for the Yellowjackets and he signed to play for Tulane University in New Orleans. Dhamiri is the son of Roy and Sue Thomas. Roy is also the head cross country coach and girls’ track coach at Galena Park. Dhamiri was selected to the District 21-4A team in football in 2005 and 2006 and is a three-year letterman for the Yellowjackets. He recorded 35 pancakes during his senior season in which the Yellowjackets went 8-3 and qualified for the playoffs. Dhamiri is also a two-year letterman in basketball.
