North Shore High School athletes sign letters of intent |
|
North Shore High School Head Coach David Aymond, top right, is shown with the six North Shore Mustangs who signed binding letters-of-intent on National Signing Day, Feb. 6. Armando Alvarez, bottom left, was an offensive lineman for the Mustangs. He signed his letter-of-intent with Kilgore Junior College. Alvarez was a first team All-District 22-5A selection in 2007. Jeremiah McGinty, bottom middle, also signed with Kilgore Junior College. Jeremiah played quarterback for the Mustangs and was named the District 22-5A MVP. He threw for 2,211 yards and 27 touchdowns and ran for 722 yards and 12 TDs. Lawrence Furlow, bottom right, signed with Grand View College in Des Moines, Iowa. Lawrence was a running back for the Mustangs and ran for 359 yards and 6 TDs as a senior. Ryan Williams, top left, was a defensive back for the Mustangs. He signed his letter-of-intent with Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas. Ryan led the Mustangs with 6 interceptions and also broke up 7 passes and finished with 69 total tackles. He was a first team District 22-5A selection. Chase McEntee, top middle, signed with Fresno State University. Chase, a defensive tackle, was named the Co-Outstanding Defensive Player of the Year in District 22-5A. Chase finished the 2007 season with 71 total tackles, 13 tackles for loss and 6 sacks. Justin Rogers, top right, signed with Grand View College in Des Moines, Iowa. Justin, a linebacker, was a first team District 22-5A selection and finished the season with 94 tackles, 12 tackles for loss and 5 sacks. ![]() |
