Cimarron teachers participate in Nike Women’s Marathon

Cimarron Elementary teachers Dana Haag, Audra Willis and Tori McDaid received a grand send off from the student body on Thursday, Oct. 19 as students cheered them on during an outdoor pep rally as the teachers ran two laps around the school before leaving for San Francisco later in the day.
The teachers ran in the Nike Women’s Marathon on Sunday, Oct. 21 in San Francisco. This race benefits the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The teachers, who all finished the marathon in less than six hours, ran in honor of two Cimarron students who both have leukemia.
