Woodland Acres Elementary student to have artwork displayed
at Museum of Fine Arts

Woodland Acres Elementary student Bryan Corrigeux was recently notified that his piece of art “Winter Trees a la Klimt” has been selected to be displayed at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston.
Corrigeux is in select company as only 24 pieces from throughout the greater Houston area were chosen for display at the Museum of Fine Arts as part of the “Start with Art, Learn for Life” exhibit.
His artwork will be on display from March 14 through June 28.  He will also be honored during the awards ceremony on March 28 at the Museum.
Corrigeux, a second grade student, is taught by Sonia Lloyd. The class studied Austrian artist Gustav Klimt’s “Tree of Life” mural based on winter trees.
