LyondellBasell and Austin Industries Partner with Galena Park ISD
to train tomorrow’s workforce – today

        (GALENA PARK) August 31, 2011 - In a continuing partnership with Galena Park ISD to boost the skilled labor workforce in our local area, LyondellBasell and Austin Industries will kick off the 2011 “Adopt a School” program with a generous donation of welding supplies and introduce the program to this year’s class. Upon completion, five Galena Park ISD students will be offered full-time employment this summer.
        With a difficult economy and educational budget cuts, this program could be a shining example for the way schools and businesses could forge a path to success in the future.
