Galena Park ISD Board of Trustees Announces
Superintendent of Schools – Dr. Angi Williams

        Effective December 7, 2011, Dr. Angi Williams was named Superintendent of Schools during a Board of Trustees meeting held on December 6, 2011. Dr. Williams has been the Interim Superintendent since June 2011. She was asked to take the Interim position when former Superintendent Dr. Mark Henry accepted the Superintendent position at Cy-Fair ISD. “With her impeccable work ethic, wealth of professional experience, and most importantly, her dedication to our students, she showed us that she was the right person for the job. In the end, we unanimously agreed to hire Dr. Williams to lead the Galena Park ISD family to continued success,” noted Wilfred Broussard, Galena Park ISD Board of Trustees President.
