North Shore High School Athlete Selected to U.S. Army All-American Bowl

North Shore High School football player Sedrick Flowers was selected to play in the 2011 U.S. Army All-American Bowl, joining an elite group of student-athletes.
Flowers, an offensive lineman, will play in the 11th Anniversary game on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at the Alamodome in San Antonio. The game will be broadcast live on NBC at noon and will feature the nation’s top 90 high school players. David Aymond, head coach of the North Shore Mustangs, will coach in the game and will attend the U.S. Army Coaches Academy, an elite two-day learning experience featuring NFL and NCAA coaches.
For 11 years, the U.S. Army All-American Bowl has been the nation’s premier high school football game, serving as the preeminent launching pad for America’s future college and NFL stars. Adrian Peterson, Reggie Bush, Mark Sanchez, Tim Tebow, Brian Cushing, Percy Harvin and Vince Young all made their national debuts as U.S. Army All-Americans.
