Mighty Mustang Band honored at Board Meeting

          The North Shore Senior High School Marching Band was recognized at the December 2010 Board of Trustees meeting. The Mighty Mustang band was honored for advancing to the University Interscholastic League (UIL) Class 5A State Marching Contest held in San Antonio, Texas.
         This marks the second consecutive trip for NSSH students who marched in the UIL State Marching Contest in 2008. The state contest is held every other year for each classification. In San Antonio, the NSSH Band competed with 36 of the very best high school marching bands from across the state of Texas.
          Band directors include Shane Goforth, Andrew Hoskins and Joseph Eck. Drum majors include Samantha Flores, Anthony Hernandez and Roy Flores and the color guard captain is Fernando Rodriguez.
