Introduction
Greece is an ancient land with a rich history and culture. Your group as a travel agency is planning a tour to Greece.  You are to develop a travel guide of the interesting places to visit.



The Task

  • You will be responsible for designing a travel brochure for your assigned city.
  • A daily journal of things you have learned about your city will be kept by each member of your team.
  • A photo gallery of landmarks with a short description of will be composed by each team.
  • Your team will be responsible for making a replica of a famous site you have visited.

You may use Microsoft PowerPoint, Word.
 
 



The Process
 

  1. First you'll be assigned to a team of 4 students...
  2. Find information about the section of Greece you have been assigned.
  3. You will be required to write in your journal each day what you have discovered about your section.
  4. Sketch a 4th grade Greek boy and girl in their traditional dress.
  5. Label a map showing the location of your section.
  6. Draw the flag of Greece.
  7. Write a typical menu for the food you will eat while visiting this section.
  8. Collect photos of the landmarks and with a short description.
  9. Write a short message using the Greek alphabet.

  10. Write a half page biography of the famous people in your section.
