ANIMALS OF THE TROPICAL RAINFOREST: Which animals could be added to a tropical exhibit at the Indianapolis Zoo? No guessing here--students must first research some facts about the animals they think will belong. Draw your animal and rainforest poster, or design an environ-mentally aware t-shirt!

ME? LIVE IN A RAINFOREST? Because your team of four students includes an expert botanist, geographer, biologist, and sociologist, you have been chosen to live and study in the tropical rainforest for a year. The big question--what will you need to prepare yourself and to take with you? In order to properly and safely answer the question, you will need to do some research--luckily some sites have been prepared in advance for you. Collect pictures and data, because you will be building a multimedia presentation of all your findings.

DESERTS OF THE WORLD: Students will get to create a desert habitat for a museum, while taking on roles of horticulturists, zoologists, and anthropologists. Several online resources will serve to compare and contrast desert habitats around the world.
