Safe Routes to School

Galena Park ISD is committed to ensuring that all of our students can utilize physically active transportation, such as walking and bicycling, for a safe and enjoyable trip to school. This Safe Routes to School Plan aims to address the issues that will impede active transportation and seeks to strategically solve these problems by implementing a Safe Routes to School program. We are currently in the process of applying for the Safe Routes to School grant from the Texas Department of Transportation. More details to come!
