    Parents, the deadline has been extended to turn in your documentation for RSV Part I. You can submit your documentation online or to your child's current campus. This process must be completed for the 2019-2020 school year.

  • Mental Health Awareness Fair

    Since 1949, Mental Health Awareness Month has been observed in May in the United States. Galena Park ISD will host a Mental Health Awareness Fair on Thursday, May 23, 2019. The fair will be at the Joyce Zotz Eduation Center from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

  • Notice of Private Non-Profit Schools Meeting

    Please be advised that Galena Park ISD will hold a meeting for administrators of all Private Non-Profit Schools that have students who reside in the Galena Park ISD attendance area. Information on program planning, availability, and eligibility criteria of Federal funds and services (Title I, II, III, and Special Education programs) will be held on Monday, June 3, 2019, at 1:00 pm at the Administration Building

    Metro's Summer of Fun is back! Students (K-12, college and university) ride free with a Student Metro Q Fare Card. Please complete the registration form or follow the instructions to apply online. If you already have a Student Metro Q Fare Card you are good to go!

    5th and 8th grade STAAR Reading and Math test scores are now available online. Please visit the Texas Assessment Management System webpage to retrieve your child's scores.

  • Removal of Unauthorized/Disruptive Persons

    As of August 26, 2018 all school districts are subject to the Commissioner’s new rules regarding the removal of a disruptive person from a campus. More information regarding this new rule can be found in Chapter 37, section 37.105 of the Texas Education Code, which addresses: Unauthorized Persons, Refusal of Entry, Ejection, and Identification.
