    Galena Park I.S.D. offers a limited enrollment Pre-K 3-Year-Old Program for eligible students. Students must meet the State of Texas eligibility requirements to qualify for the program. Apply today!

  • Pre-Identification for Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten

    Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the early registration process we had planned for new prekindergarten and kindergarten students has been postponed until further notice. However, in order to continue planning and preparing for our new students in the 2020-2021 school year, we need your assistance. Please complete the pre-identification form below to let us know if you will be registering your child for prekindergarten or kindergarten.

  • District Chromebook and Hotspot Return and Restitution

    Galena Park I.S.D. will begin accepting Chromebook and Hotspot returns on Monday, June 1st through Wednesday, June 3rd. Please return your devices to the campus where you originally checked it out. Specific return dates, times and locations and restitution information if damage was incurred during the time in your possession can be located on the Chromebook Return webpage.

  • Dr. John Moore, New GPISD Superintendent of Schools

    The Galena Park I.S.D. Board of Trustees met on May 14, 2020 and voted to approve the employment of Dr. John Moore as Superintendent of Schools. Dr. Moore will replace retiring Superintendent, Dr. Angi Williams, effective July 1, 2020.

  • GPISD Announces Full-Day Pre-Kindergarten

    To increase your child’s readiness for kindergarten, Galena Park I.S.D. will begin to offer a full-day Pre-Kindergarten program for 4 year-old students at all campuses. A half day program is also offered for 3 year-old students at select campuses.

  • Removal of Unauthorized/Disruptive Persons

    As of August 26, 2018 all school districts are subject to the Commissioner’s new rules regarding the removal of a disruptive person from a campus. More information regarding this new rule can be found in Chapter 37, section 37.105 of the Texas Education Code, which addresses: Unauthorized Persons, Refusal of Entry, Ejection, and Identification.
