    The North Shore Lady Mustangs advance to the Area Round Playoffs vs Clear Springs on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at Pasadena Fieldhouse. The playoff game will tip-off at 6:00 p.m. Admission is $5.00 for adults and students. Let's Go Mustangs!

    Dr. Angi Williams who after a long successful career in education with the past 8 years as Superintendent of Galena Park I.S.D. has announced her retirement at the end of the current school year. The Board of Trustees of Galena Park I.S.D. has hired DRV Executive Search Services to assist them in searching for an exceptionally qualified administrator to be the next District Superintendent of Schools.   • GPISD Announces Full-Day Pre-Kindergarten

    To increase your child’s readiness for kindergarten, Galena Park I.S.D. will begin to offer a full-day Pre-Kindergarten program for 4 year-old students at all campuses. A half day program is also offered for 3 year-old students at select campuses.

  • Galena Park I.S.D. Monitoring Coronavirus

    Galena Park I.S.D. continues to follow the guidance and recommendations of the Harris County Public Health Department concerning the recent news of the novel (new) coronavirus first detected in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, China. While there are no confirmed cases of this respiratory illness in our area, families are encouraged to visit the Harris County Public Health’s website for more information regarding the coronavirus and how to help prevent the spread of respiratory illnesses.

  • Removal of Unauthorized/Disruptive Persons

    As of August 26, 2018 all school districts are subject to the Commissioner’s new rules regarding the removal of a disruptive person from a campus. More information regarding this new rule can be found in Chapter 37, section 37.105 of the Texas Education Code, which addresses: Unauthorized Persons, Refusal of Entry, Ejection, and Identification.
