  • 6A Boys Bi-District Basketball Playoffs

    The North Shore Mustangs will face South Houston on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 in the 6A Boys Bi-District Basketball Playoffs. The playoff game will tip-off at 7:00 p.m. at Deer Park High School. Let’s go Mustangs!

  • Vivian Dancy Named Region 5 Athletic Director of the Year

    Vivian Dancy, Director of Athletics, was named the Region 5 Athletic Director of the Year for her outstanding commitment to leading the athletics program at Galena Park ISD.

  • Athletic Physicals

    The Galena Park ISD Athletic Department will be hosting Athletic Physicals performed by Dr. Kirkwodd and Associates during the school day. The cost of the physical is only $20 and will assure you are ready for your sport.

  • GPHS Girls Basketball vs Galveston Ball

    The JV team dominated with a 43-17 victory over the Tors of Galveston Ball. The JV team suited 15 girls and all 15 participated in the game and contributed to the win. Daphne Bustos was the MVP for the game with her 10 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals. Deysy Martinez was the lead scorer with 13 points and she contributed 3 rebounds and a steal. Defensively, Cammye Martinez was the top player leading the team with 5 steals.

  • GPHS Boys Basketball vs Goose Creek

    The JV team lost defeated Goose Creek 57-43. The team was led by Paul Zermeno who scored 16 points, had 4 assists, 7 rebounds, and 5 steals. Kailen Colums also added 16 points to the G.P. victory along with 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 5 steals.

  • Miracle In Texas

    The North Shore Mustangs defeated Duncanville on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at AT&T Stadium. AJ Carter receives a 45-yard touchdown pass from Dematrius Davis as time expired, giving North Shore a 41-36 win over Duncanville. Congratulations to the UIL State 6A D1 State Champions!

  • Additional Security Measures

    Middle school and elementary school students will only be allowed entry into the stadium with an accompanying adult. Students will still be allowed to sit in student sections together, as long as this does not result in any type of disruptive behavior. We thank you for your cooperation and support as we work together to maintain a safe and secure environment at the Galena Park ISD stadium while cheering on our students.

  • Enhanced Security Procedures at GPISD Venues & Facilities

    Our district is committed to maintaining safe and secure environments for our students, staff, parents, visitors and community members. This commitment extends beyond our campus sites to include other district venues and facilities. Please expect enhanced security procedures at the Galena Park ISD stadium and other district events this coming year. While many may consider these enforcements insignificant, inconvenient or unnecessary, each procedure contributes to the overall safety and security of the facility and event.

  • WAMS Practice and Game Schedule

    Due to construction Woodland Acres Middle School practices and games will be held at the North Shore 9th Grade Campus for the 2018-2019 school year.
