    My name is Christle Jolivette-Joseph, RN, and I’m the nurse for North Shore Middle School. I will be attentive to your child’s symptomatic needs temporarily once they enter the clinic. I am dedicated to the promotion of optimum health for all students through the implementation of professional nursing skills ,and the provision of current health education on campus.

  • IF YOUR CHILD IS SICK (TEMPERATURE GREATER THAN 99.6, COUGH, SORE THROAT, ETC), PLEASE MAKE ARRANGEMENTS TO KEEP THEM HOME TO GET BETTER. IT’S VERY IMPORTANT TO KEEP OUR CHILDREN HEALTHY IN THESE TIMES.

    Illness/Injuries:
    MASK MUST BE WORN UPON ENTRY FOR ADULTS, AND CHILDREN 10YRS OR OLDER
    -Due to COVID-19, special considerations will be taken based on symptoms, and other factors. I will be in contact if these circumstances arise. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR CONTACT INFORMATION IS UP TO DATE!

    **IF YOU OR YOUR CHILD HAS COME IN CONTACT/ TESTED POSITIVE/ EXPERIENCING SYMPTOMS OF COVID-19, PLEASE CALL OUR DISTRICT COVID-19 HOTLINE AT 832-386-1091 BETWEEN 7AM-7PM**
    (This hotline is only for Galena Park ISD students, a parent/guardian must call on behalf of the student) 

    COVID-19 SYMPTOMS:
    Fever of or greater than 100.0, sore throat, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, cough, chills, and muscle aches, loss of taste or smell, vomiting, runny nose, abdominal pain, diarrhea, and/or headache

    -Please contact me if your child has been diagnosed by a doctor with a contagious condition such as COVID-19, strep throat, pink eye, impetigo, ringworm, flu, or has vomiting and/or diarrhea.

    Injuries:
    -Though all injuries are important, I will contact parents based on severity and/or location. Wheelchairs can be used only with a Doctor’s note.
