Science

The mission of the Galena Park Independent School District is to prepare students to become productive citizens and lifelong learners. We believe that by engaging our students in exciting investigations that incorporate higher-level critical thinking skills, we can ensure success for all.

Furthermore, science is an extension of everyone's natural curiosity and is a resource for becoming a critical and engaged citizen. The GPISD science department seeks to cultivate students' scientific habits of mind, develop their ability to engage in scientific inquiry, and foster their reasoning skills in scientific contexts.
