• $500 contest entry fee

• 9 AM to 6 PM (gates open @ 8:15 AM)

• $5 spectator admission fee (children 6 and under admitted at no charge)

• The online entry form will be available beginning Friday, April 11, 2025, at 8:00 AM

• Performance times are assigned based on the date and time that entry forms are submitted

Contest Information

The 2025 Galena Park ISD Marching Band Festival is scheduled for Saturday, October 4.

The adjudication format is similar to the UIL Area Marching Contest with 3 music and 2 visual judges. The GPISDMBF is a prelims only contest with awards presented for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd places in each classification.

As in the past, our event is broken into three performance blocks. Please submit your 1st and 2nd preferences when submitting your entry form. Be aware that early and late afternoon times will fill quickly.

•  Morning (9:15-11:15 AM), 9 performance spots available + North Shore Sr. HS
• Early afternoon (12:30-2:45 PM), 10 performance spots available
• Late afternoon (3:15-5:15 PM), 9 performance spots available + Galena Park HS
