• The mission of the GPISD Custodial Services Department is to provide a clean, healthy, and safe environment for our students and staff.

What We Do — Custodial Services Responsibilities

• General Cleaning: Daily cleaning of classrooms, restrooms, and common areas to maintain hygiene and appearance.
• Event/Meeting Set Ups: Arrange furniture and room layouts for school events, meetings, and community activities.
• Floor Care: Routine sweeping, mopping, stripping, waxing, and carpet care to preserve floors and ensure safety.
• Auction Moves: Coordinate safe, efficient moves and staging for district auctions and large-item transfers.
• Indoor Pest Control: Proactive and responsive pest management to protect building health and safety.
• District Waste: Manage trash, recycling, and proper disposal across campuses.
• Furniture Moves: Safe relocation and setup of furniture for classroom changes, moves, and renovations.

How to Request Service

• For routine requests or non-emergency needs, submit a custodial work order through the SchoolDude portal.
• For urgent issues (spills, safety hazards, major cleanup), contact your campus custodian or call District Operations.
