Welcome! The Galena Park ISD Maintenance teams work together to ensure Galena Park ISD campuses are safe, clean, comfortable, and ready for learning every day. This page is organized to help you find services, submit requests, and quickly reach the right contacts. We ensure a safe and comfortable environment for staff and students so there are no interruptions to learning. Our goal is to make your child’s day as pleasant as possible.
Key building services
We provide comprehensive building and grounds care across the district, including:
- HVAC — heating and cooling systems, routine filter changes, and A/C duct sanitizing
- Painting — interior and exterior painting for upkeep and refreshes
- Electrical — lighting, receptacles, wiring repairs, and safety checks
- Plumbing — leak repair, fixture replacement, and drainage solutions
- Carpentry — doors, cabinetry, shelving, and general woodwork repairs
- Pressure washing — sidewalks, building exteriors, and play areas
- Elevator inspections — routine safety checks and required maintenance
- Fire safety inspections — alarms, extinguishers, and code compliance checks
- Roof inspections — preventative checks and repair coordination
- General maintenance on buildings — ongoing repairs and preventive work to keep facilities functioning

We maintain and update multiple agency permits annually to ensure compliance and safe operation:
- City of Houston
- City of Galena Park
- Harris County

How to Request Service
- For routine requests or non-emergency needs for Grounds, Maintenance, or a Summer work order, submit it through the SchoolDude portal
When submitting a request, please include:
- Campus/building name and exact location on site (near main entrance, north parking lot, playground, etc.)
- A brief description of the issue (e.g., “large limb down by the north field,” “sprinkler leaking at the teacher’s parking”)
- Photos when possible
- Your contact information and best time to follow up
