Security & Emergency Management

Galena Park ISD created a Security Department in 1995 to ensure a safe environment for students and staff.

Our Police Chief, Bryan Clements, works closely with Harris County Constables in Precincts Two and Three to provide law enforcement services to the school district. The district contracts with Harris County for 43 officers who are assigned full-time to our schools. Every campus in Galena Park ISD has a full-time officer assigned. Precinct Two provides services to the south side of the district and Precinct Three provides services to the north side. In addition, the district utilizes civilian security guards to patrol campuses in the evenings and at night.
