My name is Mrs. Garcia and I am honored to be the counselor at Cloverleaf Elementary. I am very excited about this school year and can’t wait to meet all of the students and parents.
My counseling services include: group counseling, individual counseling, and guidance lessons.
My lessons will focus on the following character education topics: Citizenship, compassion, tolerance, honesty, perseverance, responsibility, respect, discipline, trustworthiness and service. I will continue to reinforce the EAFK “Early Act First Knight” character education program that also implements these topics.
Students can be referred to me by teachers and parents/guardians. Parents, if you have any concerns regarding your son or daughter please call the school. I will be more than happy to speak to you over the phone or set up a conference at your convenience. I appreciate all your input and help in making this a wonderful year for your children.
Helping Your Child Become a Responsible Citizen
This booklet provides information about the values and skills that make up character and good citizenship and what you can do to help your child develop strong character. It suggests activities that you and your school-aged children can do to put those values to work in your daily lives and tips for working with teachers and schools to ensure that you act together to promote the basic values that you want your child to learn and use.
