North Shore Elementary Book Check-Out Procedures
Students are encouraged to check out books each week when they attend library classes as well as each morning. Students may exchange their books in the mornings from 7:00-7:40. There are additional times when students are invited tostop by the library to return and borrow books, read or work on classroom assignments which require the use of resources in the library. Up to three children per class may choose to visit the library at a time. Borrowing limits are as follows.

Books may be borrowed for up to two weeks, with the chance to renew books once for another two weeks. Borrowing and renewal limits may be extended by speaking with Mrs. Christensen.

The mission of the North Shore Elementary library is to provide the learning community with a broad range of print and electronic materials, build information literacy skills, support library and classroom curriculum, foster a love of reading, and to encourage life-long learning.
