Enhanced Security Procedures at GPISD Venues & Facilities

    Our district is committed to maintaining safe and secure environments for our students, staff, parents, visitors and community members. This commitment extends beyond our campus sites to include other district venues and facilities.

    Please expect enhanced security procedures at the Galena Park ISD stadium and other district events this coming year. While many may consider these enforcements insignificant, inconvenient or unnecessary, each procedure contributes to the overall safety and security of the facility and event.

    The following items are prohibited:

    • Firearms/Weapons of any kind
    • Drugs/Alcohol
    • Tobacco/e-Cigarettes
    • Backpacks/Oversized bags
    • Coolers
    • Umbrellas
    • Noisemakers/Horns/Whistles
    • Balls/Frisbees/Balloons
    • Animals (except service animals)

    ** All guests are subject to search.**
    ** Re-entry will require the purchase of a new ticket.**
