Participation Eligibility Requirements
Must be a graduate of a GPISD high school
Must pass the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Instructional Aide Test or acquire 48 college hours
Must be a full-time student in a surrounding College or University
Must work 15-20 hours per week on a District assigned campus
Must maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher
Homegrown Student Expectations
Attend all Homegrown meetings (six meetings)
Work hard and diligently at assigned campus
Do well on the end of the year Instructional Aide evaluation
Turn in all required paperwork
Timesheets
School semester schedules
Grades at end of each semester
Keep grades up (2.5 GPA or higher)
