Reopening of Schools 2020-2021

Plans are underway to welcome our students and staff back to school for the 2020-2021 school year! Please check this webpage often to keep updated on the latest news and plans for reopening our schools and to become familiar with the options presented to parents/guardians for their child(ren)s' educational settings for the 2020-2021 school year. Please note, however, that Reopening Plans are subject to change in order to remain in compliance with ever-changing guidance from our local and state officials, the Harris County Public Health Department (HCPH), the Texas Education Agency (TEA), and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).

Returning Student Verification

The online verification for student returning to Galena Park ISD will open on July 20th. All components of Returning Student Verification will be online for the 2020 - 2021 school year.

New Student Enrollment

The online enrollment for new students to Galena Park ISD will open August 1. All components for New Student Enrollment will be online for the 2020 - 2021 school year.

2020-2021 Residency Affidavit

The 2020 - 2021 Residency Affidavit is now available electronically. This application is for individuals who cannot produce a property deed/lease or lives with a friend/family member

2020-2021 Parental Assumption

The 2020 - 2021 Parental Assumption application is now available to submit electronically. This application is required if the student will remain living separate and apart from their parent/legal guardian

NSSH Class of 2020 Honor Graduates

NSSH graduates of highest academic honor. Valedictorian and Salutatorian are recognized as Summa Cum Laude graduates. Students in the top 5% are recognized as Magna Cum Laude graduates. Students in the top 6% to 10% are recognized as Cum Laude Graduates.
