Dyslexia Parent Meeting

Please join us for our Dyslexia Parent Meeting on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, via Zoom from 6:00 p.m. through 7:00 p.m. The parent meeting will be presented in English and Spanish.

GPISD Offers New STEM Academies

In an effort to provide choice for students, we are excited to announce the 2023-2024 school year will be the inaugural year of GPISD’s Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math Academies (STEM), located at Havard Elementary and Galena Park Elementary Schools. These Academies will continue to provide excellent academics while giving students opportunities for extended learning in science, technology, engineering, and math. GPISD Middle School Swim Magnet

The Galena Park ISD Athletics Department is hosting two informational meetings about the Middle School Swim Magnet Program. The meetings will focus on the swimming skills needed to be on the high school swim team for incoming seventh and eighth grade students. GPISD 2023-2024 Academic Calendar

On Monday, February 13, 2023, the Galena Park ISD Board of Trustees approved the 2023-2024 academic calendar. Students will get one week off for Thanksgiving break, two weeks for winter break and a week off for spring break.

College Tutors Wanted!

Galena Park ISD is searching for college students who would like to be tutors! College tutors can earn up to $15 per hour, and enjoy a flexible schedule of up to 17 hours per week. This is a great opportunity to help other students and earn money too. Apply today!

GPISD Stadium Clear Bag Regulation -- Effective September 2, 2022

To ensure visitor safety, along with quick and efficient entry into the GPISD stadium, a Clear Bag Regulation has been instituted.

The 2022-2023 Mid-Year Edition of GPS (Galena Park Schools) Magazine is now available!
